Secure access to your immunisation information whenever you need it
Immunisation information including COVID-19 vaccination information, comes from the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) and certain clinical documents in your record. Immunisation information from your shared health summaries or event summaries will also be included in your immunisation view.
People who can access your record will be able to view your immunisations. Find out more about who can access a record.
Immunisation information can include:
- date given
- diseases
- dose number
- source
- vaccine details

Get started:
- Sign in to My Health Record:
Sign in to My Health Record via myGov
- Select the record you want to access.
- Select Documents in the navigation menu at the top of your screen, then select Immunisations from the drop-down menu.

This information is displayed if it is recorded in AIR.
- The National Immunisation Program (NIP) status shows those eligible for vaccines under the NIP (can be up to age 20).

NIP immunisations
Any upcoming NIP immunisations are shown with a grey background. They are highlighted orange and marked as due three months before the actual due date. A month after the due date, they are highlighted red and marked as overdue.

Additional information recorded in the AIR is displayed in a Notices section. This may include details about immunisation exemptions or participation in vaccine trials.

Check your Medicare Information Settings (from the Profile & Settings tab). Make sure Yes is selected for 'All information about immunisations recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

The Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) is a national register that records vaccines given to individuals of all ages, including National Immunisation Program (NIP) schedule vaccines, flu, shingles, and travel vaccines. Information from AIR is automatically added to your record. To change this, go to your Medicare settings.
