Register as a practitioner

Before you start:

Make sure you have completed all required tasks on the Provider Connect Australia Pre-Registration Checklist. Then go to the Provider Connect Australia™ Portal (also known as the PCA™ portal). The next time you login to PCA, you can register as a practitioner to perform self service functions. When you register as a practitioner, you can assign a delegate to perform tasks on your behalf, including the management of information sharing.

Summary of steps  

  1. Go to the PCA™ Portal Home Page. 
  2. Click on the Login button.  
  3. You will be presented with the PRODA Login screen. Login to your individual PRODA account.
  4. You will be prompted to enter the 6 digits verification code, sent either via SMS or email or mobile app. Enter the code and click Next.
  5. The first time you login to the PCA™ Portal, the PRODA Terms and Conditions page will appear.
  6. Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  7. The Register screen will display.
  8. Select I’m a practitioner.
  9. Enter the following;
    1. Email
    2. Phone number
    3. HPI-I number
  10. Read and agree to the individual participation agreement and privacy collection notice.
  11. Click on the Agree and continue button.  
  12. You will receive a validation email with a link. Click the link to validate your email address.
