Tara Diversi is a passionate advocate for regional health and regional innovation. She is the CEO of Launch Y(E)P, Director of the Tropic Tech & Innovation Network and Board Director of Northern Queensland PHN. She is the President of Dietitians Australia and Clinical Adviser to the Department of Veterans Affairs. 

Tara has over 20 years’ experience as an Accredited Practising Dietitian, is a Provisionally Registered Psychologist and built her first digital health business in 2008.  She is the co-founder of Sophus Health, a digital health platform that helps practitioners, organisations and researchers provide healthcare that is affordable and accessible. She is the co-founder of the Tropical Innovation Festival, a week-long innovation festival held in Cairns, annually. Tara is an active early-stage investor, has had successful exists and research collaborations in digital health. 

Tara holds several tertiary qualifications including an MBA (Marketing and Behavioural Economics), Post graduate Diploma of Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Psychology, Master of Nutrition and Dietetics, Graduate Certificate in Education and Bachelor of Health Science. She is a Graduate of AICD and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia. She is the author/co-author of seven books, numerous peer-reviewed publications and reports on behalf of organisations. She regularly presents at conferences, events and in the media. 

Growing up in regional Australia – Kununurra and Cairns, and having worked throughout Cape York, Torres Strait and Papua New Guinea, Tara is particularly passionate about regional and remote health and how technology can be used to provide more efficient and effective healthcare.
