Ms Jodie Geissler

Jodie Geissler is the Deputy Secretary - Hospitals and Health Services Division in the Department of Health Victoria.

As Deputy Secretary she is responsible for managing hospital and health service commissioning and performance, encompassing both metropolitan and regional health services, along with Ambulance Victoria. She also oversees improvement programs, workforce reform and planning, statewide services including HealthShare Victoria, and aged care.

Prior to her current role, Jodie held the position of Chief Executive Officer for the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.

Jodie has previously also held positions in the Department of Health Victoria leading the digital health program, and systems transformation teams. In the Department of Premier and Cabinet Victoria she led the Health and Human Services team with a focus on NDIS transition and health reform.

Jodie has also spent time working at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
