Miss Beelah Bleakley

I am Registered Nurse who has clinical experience working in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. I moved across to Aussie with my family in 2015  and decided to stay permanently, we are all really happy here in this wide brown land which is so different to home. I have held various clinical and leadership roles within public hospital settings over her 25-year career and am currently working in digital health.  I believe that technology will continue to change and influence the way we deliver care to our patients at an increasingly rapid rate and the transition in Canberra onto a single electronic Health Record is evidence of that. I am interested in understanding how we can humanise the digital landscape to ensure we do not loose the relationships which are so important in care delivery at the coal face.  I love the outdoors and creative activities and when I get the chance spend time painting  and playing the cello… very badly.
