Dr Priyanka Vandersman
Dr Priyanka Vandersman is a Registered Nurse and researcher specializing in digital health technologies, with a particular focus on aged care solutions. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame, Australia, and has received several honors, including being a finalist for the 'Emerging Leader in Palliative Care' category at the 2023 Oceanic Palliative Care Conference.
As a Senior Research Fellow on the End-of-Life Directions for Aged Care (ELDAC) project at Flinders University, Dr Vandersman brings expertise in developing and evaluating digital health solutions. One of her key contributions is the development and implementation of the ELDAC Digital Dashboard—a tool that integrates end-of-life care data from clinical information systems to streamline processes and improve communication in residential aged care settings.
Dr Vandersman has a proven track record in leading complex, multidisciplinary projects. Her work involves guiding research, overseeing key performance indicators, and fostering cross-sector collaboration. Her extensive contributions to academic literature include peer-reviewed publications on topics such as mobile apps for pain management, digital tools for care workers, bereavement support for families, and the use of digital dashboards to improve care quality.
