Dr Danielle Esler

Danielle Esler is a public health physician and general practitioner.
She is currently the Deputy Chief Health Officer of the Northern Territory. She is also the Director of the Northern Territory Public Health Directorate - providing public health and policy leadership for the Northern Territory Department of Health.
She has a longstanding career emphasis on rural and remote health including Aboriginal Health.
Dr Esler has a strong health systems focus and understanding of both broad population health and targeted approaches for special groups. She is an advocate for appropriate governance within health systems.
