Supply Chain - Purchase Order Response Message MIG

Published 1 August 2014

The National E-Health Transition Authority (NEHTA) wishes to advise that an updated version of the eProcurement Message Implementation Guidelines is now available for download (uploaded 31 July) from the following location on the NEHTA website.

Release Rationale

This incremental release updates the Description/Comments row in GS1 XML Purchase Order Response – Message Implementation Guidelines Section 4.18 Substitute Product Identifier.

This change clarifies trade item identification and substitution variances between the GS1 Business Message Standards and the NEHTA message implementation guidelines. The GS1 Business Message Standards define a substitute GTIN as the GTIN of the product originally ordered, whereas the NEHTA specification identified this as any substitute item that may be offered in lieu of the item originally requested.
